The Sir Padampat Singhania University has been established with the passing of the Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur Act, 2008 (Act No. 4 of 2008) by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Rajasthan, as per Section 2f of the UGC Act, 1956 .
The campus is located at a distance of 30 kms from Udaipur city and about 5 kms from the Udaipur airport on the National Highway 76 towards Chittorgarh.
